McCain’s expansion in Florenceville-Bristol follows two similar projects this year. In July, McCain Foods announced plans to expand production capacity by 15% at its French fry manufacturing plant in Coaldale, Alta. In May, the company invested USD200 million to expand its French fry manufacturing plant in Burley.

Since the company was founded in 1957, McCain’s leadership in the Canadian frozen potato market segment across all retail, food service and quick service restaurants (QSR) channels is undisputed.
